A plastic moulding company in Minnesota is planning to close a plant in Anoka, resulting in dozens of layoffs. Plastic Molding Tools

Plastech Corporation, based in Rush City, informed the State of Minnesota of its intention to permanently close its facility at 2939 6th Ave. 

This will result in the layoff for 71 employees from the plant, which is expected to happen by Apr. 14.

Companies are required by law to inform the state when it implements more than 50 layoffs at a time.

Plastech Corporation has been in business since 1963, providing custom plastic injection molding and project management for clients.

The layoffs at the Anoka plant include molding managers, technicians, and press operators.

The 74-year-old woman's remains were found after the fire was extinguished.

No arrests have been made in the case.

It marked the second such "use-of-force" incident to happen in the county Tuesday.
